One of our staffers, Adrianne, got the opportunity to visit the set of Divergent in Chicago yesterday! There could not have been a better, more engaging set to call her first set visit and now she has given us her top five lessons learned from the whirlwind trip that included cast interviews, tours, and more…
It’s worth the wait… seriously. Sure, we spent a fair amount of time anticipating the arrival of our favorite stars, but once we met them it was worth every. last. minute. Down to earth and relatable are just two ways to describe them all!
It takes an army! The amount of different talents that go into creating a picture perfect set is UN-believable! From costume designers to architects, Divergent had the best of the best!
Boys will be boys! Trust me. If the hilarious chemistry between these guys is anything on screen like it is behind the scenes (and how could it not be?), we’re all in for a treat!
We are family! From cast lunches (well more like feasts!) to on-set jokes, the Divergent cast is one loveable family I wish I could have spent more time with.
Veronica Roth is a genius. Not that I needed to go past the last page in Divergent to figure that out, but my appreciation for this story after visiting the set is through the roof! Simply amazing.
And now the countdown to the spring 2014 premiere is on…!
